ABOUT
An editorial content studio for Canadian B2B teams
ContentFlare Inc. operates from Suite 120 at 221 East 10th Avenue in Vancouver's Mount Pleasant neighbourhood — a ground-level studio built for working sessions, voice workshops and production reviews, not slide-deck theatre. We are a marketing agency specialising in editorial systems: how you sound, how drafts move, and how content stays on-message when channels multiply.
What we are — and what we are not
We are a B2B content studio serving founders, marketing directors and in-house comms teams across British Columbia and Canada. We combine editorial strategy with production discipline and transparent AI-assisted research. We are not a life-coaching practice, not a follower-growth or bot engagement shop, not an income course, and not a software product you subscribe to for daily motivation.
Our work sits in the space between brand positioning decks and the Monday-morning draft queue — where voice drifts, calendars slip and contractors produce five different tones for one company. We build the architecture that keeps content coherent: voice guides, workflow maps, channel rules and governance retainers.
Generative AI is a research and drafting accelerator in our studio, never a replacement for editorial judgment. Every client-facing line passes human review. We document AI use for compliance teams and apply PIPEDA-aware handling when client materials enter tools.

Studio practice
ContentFlare follows a four-stage editorial method — Voice, Draft, Flare, Sustain — adapted to each client's maturity. Early-stage teams often need Discovery and Voice before production scale makes sense. Mature marketing functions may enter at Production Workflows or Governance Retainer when strategy exists but execution fractures.
We prefer working sessions over endless discovery phases. Sessions are documented; decisions become guides your team owns. We train internal writers and approvers rather than creating permanent dependency — though many clients choose retainers for ongoing oversight.
Business Number 471928653 RC0001. Business hours Monday through Friday, 09:00–17:00 Pacific Time. We serve clients remotely across Canada and meet in-studio when Vancouver proximity allows.
Canadian context
Vancouver's B2B ecosystem — tech, professional services, industrial supply, public-interest coalitions — produces content under pressure from tight headcount, bilingual considerations in some markets, and privacy expectations shaped by PIPEDA and BC's Personal Information Protection Act. ContentFlare designs workflows that respect those constraints: clear consent on forms, careful handling of stakeholder interviews, and AI policies that legal teams can review without guesswork.
Mount Pleasant sits close to False Creek's creative corridor — clients often walk in from nearby offices for working sessions rather than formal boardroom pitches. That proximity shapes how we work: shorter feedback loops, fewer ceremonial decks, more time on draft quality and production handoffs.
We do not guarantee search rankings, lead volume or social metrics. We guarantee honest scoping, documented deliverables and editorial standards your team can maintain after we step back.
